The Ten Commandments Have Been Abolished For
A Righteous Man. updated
The 10 commandments are not made for a righteous man.
1 Timothy 1:8 - 11
vs. 8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully:
vs. 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
vs. 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
vs. 11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
Galatians 5:18 But if ye
be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
The Law, including the 10 commandments, have been abolished / taken away
Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Hebrews10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
Galatians3:24-25
vs. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
vs. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
2 Corinthians 3
vs. 7 But if the
ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so
that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of
Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
vs. 8 How shall not the
ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
vs.9 For if the
ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration
of righteousness exceed in glory.
vs.10 For even that
which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the
glory that excelleth.
vs.11 For if that
which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is
glorious.
The Law, including the 10 commandments, have been blotted out.
Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
The handwriting of ordinances
Exodus 31:18 ... two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Exodus 34:28 ... and he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
If you teach the law it is by a spirit of witchcraft
Galatians 3:1 "O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, ..."
There is no Spirit or Miracles with the Law
Galatians 3:5 He
therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you,
doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
The law brings curses
Galatians 3:10 "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, Cursed is everyone that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them."
Galatians 3:13 "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:"
The Law shuts up faith
Galatians 3:23 "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed."
The law requires sacrifice.
Mathew 12:7 "But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless."
Hebrews 10
vs.1 For the law
having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the
things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year
continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
vs. 2 For then
would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers
once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
vs. 3 But in
those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
vs. 4 For it is
not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Hebrews10:8 "Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither had pleasure therein, which are offered by the law;"
The Gospel does not require us to offer sacrifices. Jesus already did for us.
Hebrews 10:7-8
vs.7 Then said I, Lo, I
come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O
God.
vs. 8 Above when
he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin
thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by
the law;
Hebrews 10:16-18
vs. 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
vs. 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
vs. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Isaiah 53 10-11
vs. 10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
vs. 11 He shall see the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Jesus brought the new covenant, the Gospel
John 1:17 "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."
Romans 8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (gospel) hath made me free from the law of sin and death (Moses)."
Hebrews 8:6 "But now hath he (Jesus) obtained a more excellent ministry. by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises."
Hebrews 12:24 "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant...."
You are in the flesh if you walk by the Ten
Commandments
Galatians 3
vs.1 O
foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the
truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth,
crucified among you?
vs. 2 This only would I
learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the
hearing of faith?
vs.3 Are ye so foolish?
having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
Romans 7:5
For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the
law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Galatians 5:18
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. (Conversely -
If you are under the law, you are not led by the Spirit)
Christ is the end of the law for righteousness, and justification.
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Isaiah 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified
in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of god, it is evident:for, The just shall live by faith.
Galatians 2:21I do not
frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is
dead in vain.
Mercy and grace comes from believing the Gospel (Christ), not the law.
John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Mathew 12:7 But if ye had know, what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice,...
Romans 6:14
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the
law, but under grace.
Galatians5:4 Christ is become
of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen
from grace.
Redeemed from the Law
Galatians 4:4-5
vs. 4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
vs. 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
A Prayer
If you wish to overcome the law then here is a prayer that I have been instructed to pray, and I instruct you to pray - until it manifests.
Father, I thank you that I am redeemed from the law of Moses, the Ten Commandments, and the spirit of witchcraft that has ministered the law to me.
